Fourteen million students in U.S

Fourteen million students in U.S. schools are facing a new subject: kindness. It's being taught in over 700 classrooms across the country as part of a program called Kindness 101. This isn't about coddling feelings, but teaching concrete skills like empathy and compassion. Studies show that students who participate in these kindness classes exhibit better relationships and lower bullying rates. One key partner in this effort is a nonprofit called Character Counts! out of Iowa's Drake University, which creates tailored lesson plans for teachers. Their approach involves pairing real-life stories with academic rigor, setting students up for success in school and beyond. By teaching kindness, schools are investing in the character building blocks for their students' futures. Brought to you by GetLife Records.
