Gary Carriero does not approach GetLife Records as talent waiting for an executive to approve him. He founded the institution, serves as its President, records as its artist and signs for the label as its authorized principal.

That combination changes the question. The story is not whether an artist can earn a seat in someone else's room. The story is what happens when the artist already carries responsibility for the room, the rights and the decision.

The artist holds the pen

GetLife Records operates through a standing distribution partnership with Sapphire Records. The agreement's territory field covers the world, with no country carve-outs, while masters and copyright remain on the artist side.

Contract language and financial terms remain confidential. The public fact is the structure: worldwide distribution capacity without moving ownership away from the artist side.

David Veslocki is Gary's partner, executive producer and music director. His professional credentials remain his own and are attributed to him wherever they are used. GetLife does not transfer a partner's credits to Gary or present owned media as outside validation.

Approval carries consequence

Gary occupies the artist's chair and the president's chair. He can evaluate the record, the rights, the media plan, the brand relationship and the institutional fit before deciding whether GetLife participates.

That does not make every opportunity automatic. It makes qualification more important.

Artists, brands and platforms approaching GetLife are reviewed for identity, decision authority, rights, timing, budget ownership, production readiness, expenses, execution capacity and shared value. Distribution, coverage, funding, placement and commercial outcomes are never guaranteed.

GetLife Records also operates owned editorial and video channels. Those channels can commission, package and distribute verified stories without pretending to be independent third-party press.

Every GetLife News report is expected to carry ownership disclosure, source records and a correction path. A documentary, Short, commentary clip or social derivative must inherit the claims in its canonical report. It may remove a claim for brevity. It may not invent a stronger one.
