Leah J (born Leah Abigail Jackson) is a rising R&B/Neo-Soul artist from Springfield, Massachusetts. Growing up as one of six siblings in a musically-inclined family, she developed her distinctive sound in the church choir before relocating to the Bronx, New York to pursue her dreams.

While studying at Monroe College in New Rochelle, Leah J honed her craft as both a vocalist and songwriter. As a make up artist and fashion enthusiast, Her background in hip-hop and heels dance brings an authentic rhythmic sensibility to her performances. Drawing from her Christian family background and life experiences, Leah J creates soul-stirring music that bridges classic R&B with contemporary Neo-Soul elements.
