BREAK Was First-Listed on a Documented Spotify Release Radar

Ownership disclosure: GetLife Records released BREAK and represents Gary Carriero. This is GetLife-owned reporting about its own release, not independent press coverage.

The screen opens in Spotify purple. "Release Radar" fills the top. The first record in view is BREAK by Gary Carriero.

That picture is the receipt. BREAK was first-listed on a documented Spotify Release Radar, a listener discovery playlist built from artists people follow and new music selected for them.

Spotify's description on the captured screen says Release Radar brings listeners the latest music from artists they follow, adds new singles picked for them, and updates every Friday. The documented screen is one exact view. It makes no promise about what another listener saw; it simply preserves the moment shown.

For Gary Carriero, the placement puts the release in the same frame as the work behind it. Spotify's public BREAK credit panel lists Carriero as Main Artist, Composer, Lyricist, Recording Engineer and Lead Vocalist. It lists David Veslocki as Mastering Engineer, Mixing Engineer and Studio Producer. The source shown for the track is GetLife Records.

Those credits are the Artist-President model in plain sight. Carriero is Founder and President of GetLife Records, but the title does not float above the music. On BREAK, his name sits inside the writing, voice and recording work.

GetLife Records operates as a privately owned indie-major enterprise. Here, the institution and the record meet at a simple Friday doorway: a listener opens Release Radar, and BREAK is there first in the documented view.

Source note

GetLife Records preserved the full Spotify Release Radar screen and a read-only capture of Spotify's public BREAK credit panel on August 28, 2026. The playlist interface itself shows no capture date. This article makes no audience-size, stream, save, follower, revenue, cross-listener-ordering, or platform-approval claim.
